Bournemouth nursery children use light panel to enhance literacy skills

Children at Bright Horizons Talbot Woods Day Nursery and Preschool at Bournemouth University have been using a light panel to enhance their literacy skills.

The children used their fingertips to make marks in the sand that was placed onto the light panel, as they form different letters and shapes.

“It was great to see the children interacting with and encouraging each other as they moved their fingers around the light panel,” said Nursery Manager Jane Gordon.
