Bracknell nursery children make dough on World Bee Day

Children at Bright Horizons Maidstone Turkey Mill Day Nursery and Preschool celebrated World Bee Day this year by making yellow and black dough.

The children decided to make bee cakes with the dough using spoons, cups, plates and jugs from the home corner. They worked together as a team to form the dough, assisted by staff.

“The children explored new language such as soft, squishy, stir and bake,” said Nursery Manager Vicky Thompson. “Staff talked to the children about the noises bees make and pretended to flap their arms as wings.”
