Banstead nursery children learn all about the solar system

Children at Bright Horizons Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool have transported their nursery to outer space as part of the nursery’s Growing Scientists programme.

The children used books and photographs to explore the planets and the solar system and learn lots of different facts about each one of them. They then transformed their nursery room and created their own solar system by making planets from papier-mâché.

“The children loved learning more about STEAM subjects and we saw a great opportunity to further develop their passion and understanding of space. The planets are on display in our new space room for everyone to see,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Ali Hunter.
