The Genesis Nursery is located in the Borough of Lee, within walking distance of Blackheath, Hither Green and Lewisham train stations. The nursery is situated in a beautiful Victorian house, set over two floors with separate rooms for different age groups, where we provide stimulating learning environments suited to each child’s emerging interests and skills.

Our cosy and warm baby room has secure and comfortable areas for nurture and learning, with caring nursery staff offering the Key Person approach; meeting babies’ individual needs and requirements with tailor made routines to match those from home.

Toddlers have spacious, vibrant rooms, with specially chosen furniture and resources to support motor development and hand/eye coordination. Our 2-5 year olds rooms are open plan, with a free flow between them and access to the large garden space, extending their learning outdoors. Our children love exploring nature through gardening, planting and daily access to our beautiful local park, just 100 yards from the nursery, where they learn about wildlife.

Boogie Mites Music and Movement is offered to all age groups and develops physical dexterity with a focus on health and well being. There are French classes for the 2-5 year olds, supporting self esteem, confidence and language development. Our pre-school children begin to take their first steps towards education through an introduction to key school subjects like reading, writing, maths, science and art, in readiness for their move up to “big school”.

Our dedicated chef prepares organic food and supplies organic milk for all children. We carefully review and discuss your children’s dietary requirements when you join and ensure any specific requirements are met when planning menus.

All nappies, wipes and milk are included within the price of the fees, along with all meals throughout the day. The Genesis Nursery operates an eco-friendly approach to cleaning products and resources.
