Kim Callaway, Vice President of Consulting Services

Kim is Vice President of Horizons Workforce Consulting, a global consulting practice which provides workforce wellbeing assessment, work/life strategic planning, dependent-care needs assessment, and tuition assistance policy consulting to clients across industries.

Horizons Workforce Consulting has completed a number of independent research studies under Kim’s leadership, including The Lasting Impact of Employer-Sponsored Dependent Care Supports and Enhanced Employee Health, Well-Being, and Engagement through Dependent Care Support, and has become a leader in work/life consulting and HR support.

Kim has nearly three decades of experience in work/life consulting and managing employer-sponsored benefits. At Bright Horizons, Kim worked with clients in a variety of industries including: Turner Broadcasting, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Yale University, Procter & Gamble, Synovus Service Corporation, and Frito Lay. Kim developed unique solutions for each client to meet the individual needs of each organisation.

Kim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Wheaton College and a Master of Arts degree in teaching from National Louis University.

Andrea Wicks Bowles, Senior Consultant

Andrea works with clients to enhance the effectiveness of employee contributions through beneficial talent management strategies that strengthen their organisational position as an employer of choice.

• During her tenure with Horizons Workforce Consulting, Andrea has performed consulting engagements across the life stages for clients such as Cornell University and Merrill Lynch; investigations of the international work/life needs for employees of Rogers Communications; and calculations of the impact of work/life investments on business performance measures for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline and Riverside Health Systems. Her international consulting has included work with financial services and telecommunications industries in India and Canada. Andrea has presented at national venues including WorldatWork, Working Mother, and the Conference Board.

With more than two decades of experience in work/life consulting, Andrea joined Bright Horizons in 2004. Formally with WFD and then Ceridian for 14 years, Andra developed dependent-care strategies and community development initiatives for FORTUNE 500 companies. In 1996, Andrea relocated to the UK and helped to establish LifeWorks, a service of WFD that served the work/life needs of U.S. clients with a presence in the UK and to reach UK based companies to support the challenges of managing work and family care responsibilities.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from University of Colorado and a Master of Science degree in education from Bank Street College. She is an alumnus of the Denver Community Leadership Program.
