Bright Horizons is delighted to announce that our CEO, Dave Lissy, has been honoured with the Work-Life Legacy Award at this year’s Families and Work Institute Annual Gala.
The Families and Work Institute is an organisation dedicated to examining and understanding the changing workforce, family and community, and to creating research to work, learn and live by. The Work-Life Legacy Award celebrates those who have transformed today’s workplaces and helped employers and employees to manage their work, and their personal and families responsibilities.
The prestigious award commended Dave for his extraordinary contributions to the work-life movement and to supporting today’s working families and their employers.
Speaking with Ellen Galinsky, Families and Work Institute President, Dave shared his passion in creating family-friendly workplaces, and encouraging a culture which enables people to bring their whole selves to work and to integrate their work and personal lives.
Dave’s commitment has been reflected throughout his career, in creating just such workplaces that help employers and employees to live and work their best, and also in supporting those who provide such exceptional care for their loved ones.
“Bright Horizons was founded more than twenty five years ago with a clear mission of making a difference in the lives of the clients and families we have a privilege to serve,” said Dave. “I am truly honoured to receive this recognition from the Families and Work Institute, and feel incredibly lucky to be part of an organiation that is so passionate about supporting the pursuit of work/life balance and devoted to creating a work environment founded on dignity and respect.”
