Set in a beautiful character building in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tunbridge Wells Day Nursery and Preschool is a great place for your child to explore and develop their skills, from 3 months to 5 years old.
Children love our five light and airy rooms with dedicated, long-standing staff who have been working together since opening, in 2005.
Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the very best start through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.
Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential.
- ● Through our Growing Enhancements, we support your child’s individual progress as a Growing Reader, Writer, Mathematician, Scientist and more.
- ● Your little one will further extend their learning with access to all Growing Enhancements and support with important life skills such as tying shoelaces, serving themselves at mealtimes and communicating effectively, through our Ready For School Programme.
- ● Children love our Boogie Mites music-making sessions that help them to learn about the world through music and song.
You can keep in touch with your child’s progress via the Bright Horizons Family app through our regular updates including photos and videos.
Fresh food is prepared by our onsite chef, Anna, who has fourteen years’ experience in preparing nursery food.
A dedicated sleep room is available for your little one to recharge, and our all-inclusive care includes necessities such as nappies, wipes, creams and formula.
We are looking forward to meeting you and your little explorer and welcome any questions you might have during your personal tour.

I have been qualified since 2002 with a BTEC National diploma in Early Years and in 2008 I finished my Foundation Degree in Early Years.
I have been working at Tunbridge Wells since May 2009 where I joined as a Head of Unit. In April 2010 I took on the role as Deputy Manager and I am now Nursery Manager.
I have always love working with children and forming relationships with them and their families. I have found that having my own children has really helped me relate to the families within the nursery and helping them solve any issues they may have.
I am married and have 3 children called Amelia, Logan and Theo.
I have 8 years experience working in the Early Years Sector providing children with enriching activities throughout nurseries.
I love being in the rooms working alongside my team supporting them and helping them to widen their ideas for thrilling, educational activities.
I believe that children need new play ideas and games throughout the day to ensure they are continuing to learn and grow.
I like to plan age and stage activities and implement these throughout the nursery.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
