Our Triangle Day Nursery and Preschool is exclusive for staff and students at the University of Oxford. Our dedicated staff team are highly qualified and experienced in Early Years Childcare, and are passionate about supporting your child’s development and education, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery opened in July 2016 and is situated on the Old Road Campus, Roosevelt Drive. It houses four bright, spacious and well-resourced rooms across two levels, which all have access to the garden. We even have our own Forest School area, where children between 18 and 36 months can explore and expand their curiosity.

Our Deputy Manager, Belinda, is a passionate Forest School Leader who takes the children out in small groups to experience the natural environment, encouraging imaginative learning by experimenting and playing in the mud kitchen and even enabling children to enjoy the wonder of a small campfire!

In addition to the curriculum, our unique and enriching Ready for School programme gives preschool children the opportunity to gain the knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Focusing on early academic skills with Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, these are designed to encourage your child’s natural curiosity to learn, while also inspiring children’s interest in food and art. Engaging learning experiences continue through our educational partnerships, including the innovative and well-established Boogie Mites programme.

Our Triangle nursery at the University of Oxford has drop off/pickup parking available to make your mornings easier. We offer all-inclusive fees, which means all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, are included. Your child will enjoy our delicious, nutritionally balanced food that is prepared onsite using fresh ingredients; the menu can be adapted to cater for allergies, food intolerances and preferences.

Our highly qualified team’s commitment to providing fantastic childcare has further been recognised by Ofsted, who has rated Triangle nursery as ‘Good’ in their latest inspection.

We would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Triangle Day Nursery and Preschool Nursery Manager

Adiel McKinven

I started with Bright Horizons as an unqualified nursery assistant and have since completed an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years as well as a Level 3 Forest School qualification.

Most of my career I have been working with children aged 2-5, started as a Nursery Nurse and then Room Leader within the Preschool room.   I previously worked at our Oxford Business Park nursery as a Third In Charge after returning from maternity leave in 2016.

I was successful in a position at the Triangle Day Nursery as a Deputy Manager in 2018 and then after graduating from Bright Horizon's 'Ready Steady Grow' programme for aspiring managers I achieved the position of Nursery Manager at the Triangle in September 2018.

Triangle Deputy Belinda

Belinda Collins

My name is Belinda, I worked at Botley school for 12 years. I then completed my forest school qualification and ran Forest School for 2 years working with foundation aged children.   I have worked with Bright Horizons as the Deputy Manager in January 2019 and I enjoy sharing my time between the office, supporting the rooms and delivering Forest School to our older age group children.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
