I have been working for Bright Horizons since 2006. I began my journey as a Nursery Nurse working my way up into senior management in 2011. In 2014 I became a maternity covering manager at Teddies Maidstone and then in 2015 I transitioned to Manager at Teddies Tonbridge.
I am very passionate about providing high quality care and a safe and secure environment for all the children. I often spend time observing and mentoring staff as well as spending time with the children. I am very committed to ensuring that our company vision of Keeping Everyone Safe is very evident within our nursery.
I have worked at Teddies Tonbridge since 2003. I started as a Nursery Nurse working with children aged 2-3 years. I then became Room Leader of Preschool in 2005. In 2011, I moved rooms to Baby Care to more experience within my role and was able to support new parents to the nursery and also give advice and support with their child’s development.
In 2013 I became Deputy Nursery Manager and I work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure we are providing high quality childcare in a fun and safe environment.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
