An inviting spacious nursery in central Sutton

Our beautiful Sutton Day Nursery and Preschool combines high quality equipment and facilities with exceptional care, supporting your child's development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

At the earliest stage, we ensure your child thrives. Whether that's exploring the world around them and developing their motor skills in our brilliant baby sensory room, or stretching their creative muscles in our music and reading areas as they develop.

Each room is thoughtfully tailored to your child's age, ability and interest, and our garden features a variety of activities from bikes and climbing frames to a soft, shaded reading area.

Our nursery in Sutton develops preschool abilities through an enriching Ready for School programme that gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Sutton Day Nursery is conveniently located in the town centre; a ten minute walk from both Sutton and West Sutton train stations. We have a drop off area at the front of our building and a buggy shed. Our fees are all-inclusive too, including nappies, wipes, sun cream and more, giving you less to think about on a busy morning.

Ofsted have recognised our commitment to delivering high quality childcare and education with a Good rating in their latest report.

Our long-standing team would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Sutton Day Nursery and Preschool Manager

Ellie Johnson

I have over 10 years experience working in Early Education and have a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies. This supports me with providing a stimulating and educational learning environment for all children aged 3 months to 5 years.

I believe children learn best through play and in an environment that is warm, homely and welcoming.

I like to provide new ideas and learning techniques so that the children always have an enriched and engaging learning environment day to day.

I am delighted to be working with my dedicated, professional, fun and experienced team here at Sutton Day Nursery to ensure your children feel safe, valued and cared for and are given the best opportunities to learn and grow.

Aimee Butnton Deputy Sutton

Aimee Bunting

I have 8 years experience working in the Early Years Sector providing children with enriching activities throughout nurseries.

I love being in the rooms working alongside my team supporting them and helping them to widen their ideas for thrilling, educational activities.

I believe that children need new play ideas and games throughout the day to ensure they are continuing to learn and grow.

I like to plan age and stage activities and implement these throughout the nursery.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
