At Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool, your child will spend their days in our enriching setting, run by a long-standing team of staff. From soft play and tennis to sensory activities and getting ready for school, this is the perfect setting for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Days Filled With Fun and Learning
Your baby will adore their calm and nurturing baby room, which is filled with sensory and play equipment to help them reach their developmental milestones as well as a cosy sleep room. We try to follow your baby’s home routine as closely as possible, so they’ll always feel at home with us.
Toddlers love their large rooms, which encourage them to explore their own interests and discover their independence while taking part in fun learning activities.
Children also enjoy Boogie Mites with its exciting opportunities to learn through music and song.
Getting Ready for Their Next Steps
To ensure your little one is ready to start school, preschoolers take part in our Ready for School programme, which structures and brings into focus maths, reading, writing and other essential skills they need to get ready for school. Your little learner will also be taught by our qualified preschool teacher.
Enjoying The Outdoors
Your child will have fun spending time in our large garden and outdoor space, which offers freeflow access and age-specific resources and areas. The garden enables our caring staff to extend the children’s knowledge and development in an outdoor setting.
As we are situated within the David Lloyd Club on Aspley Lane, you are entitled to pre- and post-natal consultations with a qualified fitness trainer. This benefit will support you with your fitness and wellbeing post-pregnancy.
Your child will also benefit from our regular use of the club’s facilities, including the soft play area, tennis courts, and swimming lessons.

My names Krupa and I am the manager at Bright Horizons Nottingham. I started my journey with Bright Horizons in 2021 along with my children who attend the nursery. Whilst completing my BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies in 2009, I knew very early on that I wanted my career path to be within the Early Years sector. I have worked in numerous schools, children centres, Private Education and orphanage, where I have been able to learn and develop in all my roles and I believe that I am still learning every day. My passion is to make a difference to the children and the team I work with, along with supporting. I truly believe that our environment is the child’s first educator and by having core principles children are able to flourish and be ready for the wider society. I am excited to be working at Bright Horizons Nottingham and be part of developing this welcoming nursery further.
Zoe has been working in Nurseries for over 7 years and with Bright Horizons for over 7 years, previously working as a Room Supervisor at Nottingham. Zoe is NVQ level 3 qualified and currently studying for Leadership & Management to level 2.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
