Meet the Team

North Sheen Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Dominique Walters

I have over 10 years experience in Early Years and have been working as part of management for 7 years.

I have a passion for supporting early years professionals in reaching their full potential, which in turn has a beautiful effect on our children having high quality learning and a stimulating environment.     I am a strong believer that Early Years professionals are key in aiding children in becoming passionate, confident, problem solvers which sets the foundations for their future.

I spend most of my spare time sharing quality time with my family. I have a daughter which keeps me very busy, perfecting my Disney performances and doing endless plaits in Elsa’s hair! I also enjoy going to the theatre, cooking and reading ‘nail biting’ novels!

I am proud to say that North Sheen is an exciting environment for children to learn and grow.     As a manager there is nothing like being part of the journey that our children go through and providing a 'home from home'.

I have over 6 years experience in working with children in Early years settings including Day Nurseries and a Children Centre.

This has given me a great insight in how children develop and learn in their unique ways.

I have also completed my degree in Early Childhood studies which developed my understanding on how to support children and their families.

It's wonderul to see how children grow and change as they spend time at North Sheen, I look forward to meeting all new children and sharing this key experience with them.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons
