A home-from-home nursery in Loughton

Our beautiful Loughton day nursery provides quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Nestled on the scenic edge of Loughton, our nursery supports your child in exploring all of our Growing Enhancement programmes. An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

As our nursery is in such a naturally inspiring area, we want your child to develop their love of the outdoors. To achieve this, your child has free-flow access to their own age-specific garden, where they can learn, play and explore in the ideal environment for them.

To give your child the energy they need to grow, try all of our fun activities and explore our garden, we also provide them with delicious and healthy meals, all freshly prepared by an experienced on-site chef.

We are conveniently located under a mile from Debden town centre, Debden Underground Station and just over a mile from Loughton town centre. In addition, we have a buggy storage area and on-site car park to make pick-up and drop-off as convenient for you as possible.

We would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

At Bright Horizons®, we understand how important the early years are to both you and your child. This is a time of remarkable growth, when children are experiencing rapid development, learning new skills, and progressing steadily towards physical, intellectual, and social-emotional milestones.

With that in mind, our curriculum, The World at Their Fingertips, provides intentional guidance and rich experiences that build upon individual strengths and talents. With our child development professionals at their sides, children at Bright Horizons are assured of getting the care that they need, the creative learning experiences they enjoy, and the intellectually challenging opportunities they deserve.

Alternative Female Manager Silhouette

Candice Boyse

I started my carer with Bright Horizons in 2011 as a supply member of staff whilst studying for my NVQ Level 3.

Over the years I have worked with children of all different age groups and carried out the role of a Room Leader, Third in charge and then in 2018 became Deputy Manager and supported and worked in lots of different Bright Horizons settings.

I enjoy welcoming new families into the setting and supporting the children and their families with the transition into nursery life.

I've recently become the Deputy manager of Loughton working closely alongside Nicola the manager to support the nursery as a whole, I look forwarded to new challenges within my role.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
