Bright Horizons Ladbroke Grove Day Nursery and Preschool

Why Children Love Us

A place to grow

Ladbroke Grove Day Nursery and Preschool provides care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We have been rated Good in our latest Ofsted inspection.
We are located five minutes’ walk from Holland Park and Notting Hill Stations and our entrance into Ladbroke Square gardens, which is a private garden, has an entry code to gain entry and exit. Convenient visitor parking at the front of the nursery enables safe drop off and pick up times.

Our bright, spacious and fully resourced rooms allow the children to free flow between the indoors and the outdoor environment, plus our Art Studio is where children can be creative and expressive. The large rooftop garden and 3 dedicated outdoor areas allow children of all age groups to explore the world around them.

We offer a fantastic variety of extracurricular activities including Teddy Tennis, Bilingual Beats, Ballet, Hip-Hop Tots and Theatrebugs, which are available for all children. A unique Ready for School Programme including Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians prepares children for their transition to school. Our fees include all meals and snacks, branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles and formula baby milk as appropriate.

Meet the Team

Sandra Smith

I have been managing the nursery since August 2014. I have had the pleasure of managing three more sites for Bright Horizons and I have been with the company for over 21 years. I started as a nursery practitioner then moved onto Room Supervisor. After a spell as Room Supervisor I was promoted to Nursery Manager. Over the last 21 years I have gained a wealth of childcare knowledge and loved every aspect of my role as a childcare professional.  The company has helped me continually develop professionally with courses. I have completed my Management and Leadership Level 3 and looking forward to developing my knowledge and skills even more in the near future.

Aisha Barrett

Hello my name is Aisha Barrett, I am the Deputy Manager of Bright Horizons Ladbroke Grove. I have been working at this setting for 5 years now and I started off as the baby room supervisor not long after I was promoted to third in charge. I then supported the Butterflies Room as a room supervisor (Toddlers) and that is what supported me with my promotion to Deputy manager.

I have always enjoyed working with children all age groups and it is always rewarding knowing that I have been a part of their growth and development. I studied childcare at Hammersmith and West London college and then following that I attend Greenwich University to complete a degree in Education Studies BA Hons.
