You and your child will love our cosy nursery in Esher, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Set in a beautiful refurbished church building, our nursery has a dedicated art studio so your child can freely explore their artistic creativity. Our nursery is also designed with each age group in mind, so your child will be supported from baby, with our comforting sleep room, to preschool, with our Growing enhancement activity rooms.

These activity rooms provide the space and resources to build your child’s confidence in subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing well before school as a part of our Growing Enhancement programme, unique to Bright Horizons.

Our unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

Our support for your child extends beyond our bright indoor spaces, as we also have a well-equipped outdoor area. This is made up of three different gardens based on particular age groups so your child will have their own space to learn, play and develop their love of the outdoors throughout their growth.

Our day nursery and preschool in Esher is conveniently located close to the town centre, the A224 and local bus routes. To make your morning and evening preparation easier, our care is also all-inclusive, where we provide branded nappies, nappy cream, bottles, formula milk and meals prepared by an experienced on-site chef.

We are rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and the parents from our local Esher community recognise the high quality of childcare we provide by giving us a daynurseries score of 9.6/10 (as of January 2019).
Our long-standing staff would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

I thrive on challenges and lead by example, to support all my team to develop and shine in their roles.

Esher Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Rebecca Drinkwater

I have been working in the childcare sector for 14 years. I started my career as a Nursery Assistant and now I am level 3 qualified and progressed professionally to a Deputy Manager. I have a great knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, which I share, and support with my staff team with. Working as part of a team, sharing my experiences, and supporting families is very important to me as this gives our children the very best opportunities.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
