Why Children Love Us

A place to grow

Dolphin Kingston Nursery and Preschool is in a great location for travel links into London.

Our nursery is a two-storey building with age appropriate rooms for the children. We have an ICT and Science Studio, which the children can access on a daily basis. Our children enjoy the Cooking and Art Clubs where they can freely explore and experiment their senses.

We offer extracurricular activities including Teddy Tennis, Baby Yoga, Rugby and Jo Jiggles.

We have two gardens where the children can extend their play and learning experiences.

Children are well prepared to transition to school with the unique Ready for School Programme including Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians.

Meet the Team

Jasmina Haigh

I started working at Bright Horizons in 2014 and had a role of a Regional Manager. I took a break in 2015 for 6 months to spend some time with my children, aged 8 and 10.

I have worked in the Early Years sector for 27 years working, managing various childcare provisions for the past 19 years.

I completed my BA Hons Degree in Early Years Education and Leadership. I am also the lead safeguarding officer within the nursery.

I am proud to work for an outstanding nursery which provides high standards of care and education for children aged 3 months-5 years. I am also delighted to be working with experienced, dedicated and passionate child care professionals, who put children first.

Kirsty Watts

I am the Deputy Manager at Dolphin Nursery and I have been working here since 2011. I was Room Leader before I got promoted to Third in Charge. I have held previous Deputy Manager Roles in other nurseries so I have had management experience before I became the Deputy at this nursery.

I wish to continue the outstanding environment that we have achieved already and build the staff team to continue the excellent care towards the children. I have a wealth of experience with the younger age groups. I am also the Keeping Everyone Safe Co-ordinator and also hold a qualification in Health and Safety and an NVQ in Management.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
