Nikki Sewell

I have been working within the childcare sector for 15 years and in leadership for 11 years Through this time, I have had the pleasure of supporting and educating large teams in order to provide exceptional care and education to our children. I believe that if we place the child at the heart of everything we do, we can never be far from excellence. I feel privileged to be continuing my journey at Clapham and hope to meet all of you individually so we can work in partnership to ensure we provide a fun and collaborative approach to learning.

Clapham Village Day Nursery and Preschool Business Manager

Tania Malique

I have worked at Bright Horizons Clapham Day Nursery and Preschool since 2014. I started as the Nursery Receptionist and have since been promoted to the Business Manager. Prior to Bright Horizons I have worked predominately in accounts which is incredibly valuable experience for my role as Business Manager. Working in Clapham Day Nursery and Preschool has been by far my favourite job and I have built some wonderful relationships with the children and families.

Clapham Village Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Chelsey Benny

My journey with Bright Horizons started in 2009 at our Wandsworth Common Day Nursery and Preschool. I worked alongside the team to achieve an OUTSTANDING from Ofsted and during my time at Wandsworth progressed from a Nursery Nurse to Deputy Manager.

My passion lies with supporting our staff to provide the best possible care for the children we are fortunate enough to look after. I am excited about the next part of my Bright Horizons journey at Clapham Day Nursery and Preschool.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
