An Inspiring Nursery in Chineham Business Park

Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool is perfectly designed to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Our nursery in Chineham features a rich variety of facilities to give your child diverse learning opportunities. This includes a sensory room for babies, children’s kitchen and two rooms dedicated to our enriching Ready for School programme. This gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Our unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

Outside, we have an expansive garden that is split up to give each room access to their own age-specific green space. Children also have use of an indoor playing hall complete with bikes, giving them plenty of choice in their physical pursuits.

Chineham Park Day Nursery is located in Chineham Business Park, perfect for those travelling in or out of Basingstoke for work. Our onsite car park and buggy storage area help with busy drop-off and pick-up times, and our all-inclusive fees, including nappies, wipes, sun cream and more, help you cut down on morning preparation.

Ofsted have recognised our commitment to high quality childcare by awarding us a rating of Good in their latest inspection.

Our long-standing team would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Forest Park Day Nursery and Preschool Manager

Chloe Moon

I have worked with Bright Horizons for several years, starting as a nursery practitioner in the preschool room.

I currently hold a level 3 diploma in childcare but enjoy taking on more training at every possibility. I have my SENCO training and incorporate this into our everyday practice.

I strive to deliver secure, nurturing and outstanding practice in which children can grow and develop at their own pace. I enjoy going for bike rides and socialising with my friends and family.

Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Josh Rochester

I have worked for Bright Horizons for over 8 years, working at several different nurseries in the area.

I worked my way up from a Nursery assistant, to now a deputy manager -  a role that I have now  been doing for 3 years. I have also spent my time as SENCO at these nurseries.

I have been at Chineham Park now for 6 months and very much enjoyed becoming part of the team, and supporting all different age groups with their learning and development.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
