You and your child will love our Outstanding Yellow Dot Chandlers Ford Day Nursery and Preschool. Set in a beautiful converted building on the Cranbury Park Estate, our nursery is mindfully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
The baby room features a milk kitchen, nappy unit and separate sleep area. Toddlers benefit from a large main room, creative room and dedicated potty training area. Older children can enjoy a wide range of educational resource indoors, as well as freeflow access to our spacious gardens. An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.
Outside, each age group has access to a large AstroTurf area and age-specific resources. Babies have a separate garden to ensure their outdoor safety, while our mud kitchen, balancing equipment, bikes and more allow older children to enrich their physical development and imagination.
We take every opportunity to go on walks in the countryside that surrounds us. Exploring the woods and seeing the lakes and nearby horses are all regular experiences at our nursery in Chandler’s Ford. Children also enjoy trips in our minibus to local libraries and garden centres, encouraging them to feel confident in new surroundings in the community.
Chandlers Ford nursery is conveniently located close to the residential areas of Chandler’s Ford and Otterbourne. We have ample car parking and are easily accessible via bus. We offer all-inclusive fees, including all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, making your mornings easier.
We would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Request a call backEarly years has been my life for the past twelve years. I assumed the role of Manager at Chandlers Ford in November 2019, inheriting a very well established and passionate staff team that share my vision of childcare. I am passionate about using the natural area that we have at our disposal to really enhance the children's day-to-day experiences, and aim to build effective partnerships with parents when they join us to ensure that they feel they belong.
Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
