Broadgreen Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Broadgreen, conveniently located within the grounds of Broadgreen Hospital. Our nursery is specially designed to support children aged 3 months to 5 years, prioritising their wellbeing and development. With a dedicated Parent Room equipped with sensory equipment and a secure buggy storage area, we ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Your child will enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities, from sensory development in the baby room, through to innovative activities to spark their imagination in the preschool room.

Our nursery is laid out to give your child the best age-specific environment in which to flourish, and in addition, we have a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) on site for children who require an extra level of support.

We offer a tailored approach to settling in sessions considering each child’s individual needs. We offer a minimum of two full day sessions with the opportunity to drop off and collect anytime between the hours of 7am and 6pm.

Our baby room is divided into non-mobile and mobile areas, enabling us to tailor care to your child's specific developmental stage, always prioritising emotional wellbeing. We support the physical development of our active toddlers with exciting apparatus such as wooden rockers and our large climbing frame, as well as giving them free flow access to the garden.

For our 2- to 3-year-olds, we offer an open plan environment that supports their mathematical development as well as speaking, listening and physical abilities which helps them to reach their milestones as they transition to the preschool room.

In addition, our preschoolers are further supported with our Ready for School Programme with more enhancements such as art, science, and cooking, as well as encouraging them to practice important life skills to prepare them for school and beyond.

While our garden, divided into four sections, comes complete with age-appropriate outdoor equipment including our Wild Forest school garden with an outdoor classroom for outdoor learning, we encourage independence with our free-flow access from each room.

Your child will enjoy regular nature walks to boost their knowledge and familiarity with the local area; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
