Bishopbriggs Early Learning and Childcare in Glasgow has been at the heart of our community for over 30 years and our nursery team are dedicated to delivering the best possible childcare to our local families in the community.
Our well-established day nursery in Bishopbriggs is designed to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years. As well as having five large, spacious and bright separate playrooms, we also have three all-weather gardens providing different areas that can be utilised for each child’s age and stage of development.
There are areas where younger children can explore and be curious, and areas for imaginative experiences and physical challenges for our older children. Particular favourites are our trampoline garden and mud kitchen, where children develop their motor skills and can enjoy letting their imagination run wild.
We are passionate about children’s development, and want to nurture your child’s love of learning, fun, creativity and exploration by providing a variety of resources and activities. An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. We focus on key academic skills such as early literacy, science and mathematics, while also encouraging children’s interest in food and art.
At Bishopbriggs nursery, we value parents as partners in their children’s learning, and foster good relationships with all parents through our many home-link activities. Parents also take part in parents’ evenings, charity events and social events such as our graduation day, Christmas show and Summer Fayre.
We are within the catchment of many local primary schools including Woodhill, St. Helens, Wester Cleddens, St. Matthew’s, Balmuildy and Meadowburn Primary and Gaelic Unit. We are also conveniently located within walking distance of Bishopbriggs station.
We are dedicated in continuing to provide fantastic care to local families like yours. Our experienced team would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the NEW Bright Horizons Family App. The app will offer a variety of features that will give you the ability to get more information on your child's day than ever before, as well as being able to notify the nursery of any changes to your planned pick-up or absences, as well as booking extra sessions.

I have been qualified and in the childcare profession for 25 years. Before joining Bright Horizons I was a Regional Director with another childcare provider. I have a vast amount of experience working with children from the Birth up to the age to 16 in a variety of settings. I am very passionate about children and love to see them progress and grow in all aspects of their development and learning. I am committed to the safe guarding and well-being of the children, families and my staff team.
I have worked in the childcare sector for over 15 years, serving many different programs, communities and populations. I previously lived and worked in the USA where I received my bachelor's degree and worked as a Nursery and Afterschool Manager. Since moving to Glasgow I have completed my SVQ 3 and will soon be returning to school for graduate studies. I am enjoying working with all of our wonderful children and families at Bishopbriggs!
I am room leader in the Toddler room and also Third in Charge. I have worked with the company for 10 years after having started off as a college student. I am fully qualified NC & HNC in Early Education and Childcare and I am very passionate about working with children, helping them to develop and grow.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
