A beautiful new nursery in Basingstoke

This brand new, beautiful character building is designed with every stage of your child's early years' development in mind. Families love our allotment, landscaped garden as well as our children's kitchen.

Inspire with Curiosity and Opportunity

Welcoming children aged from 3 months to 5 years, your little one will marvel at the array of activities on offer across the seven ground-floor, age-appropriate rooms at our Nursery and Preschool. They also enjoy cooking up a storm in our specially created children's kitchen, as well as the delicious hot and cold meals prepared using fresh ingredients by our onsite chef.

Bright Beginning for Every Child

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's development and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Outdoor Adventures

With a vegetable garden and an allotment, there is so much to inspire and teach little ones about nature and outdoor play is always available with direct access to the beautifully landscaped, all-weather garden area.

All-Inclusive Convenience

Necessities such as snacks, wipes, nappies, creams and formula are provided, so there's less to forget on those busy mornings.

Easy Drop Offs

Convenient onsite parking and a buggy park allows for a stress-free drop-off and pickup process.

Meet the Team

Tracy Elser

My name is Tracy Elser I have been in working in nurseries for over 15 years in various settings and I ensure the nursery works to the highest levels.

My passion is seeing children thrive in a nurturing and learning environment. I want ensure all parents are support and have all the information and support from their first personal tour at the nursery, this develops a strong partnership between parents and the nursery from the first meeting.

When in room I love sharing my passion of reading books and music, I love teaching pre schoolers new song and rhymes.

I have 2 grown up children and in my spare time I love walking with my dog and reading.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
