Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool in Eltham

Asquith Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery & Pre-School

Why Children Love Us

A place to grow

Elizabeth Terrace is a children's day nursery in Eltham with 47-places and is conveniently situated just behind Eltham High Street within five minutes' walking distance of Eltham train station and all bus routes.

We pride ourselves on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery where children thrive as they learn.

We have recently invested £40k in our nursery, creating a wonderful day care environment that is innovative, stimulating and inspiring for children and staff alike. There are three light and welcoming rooms with a free-flow policy, which allows children to choose their own activities and follow their interests.

Each room is plentifully equipped with age-appropriate resources and wooden furniture from Community Playthings. Interactive whiteboards and touchscreen computers help children grow in confidence as they learn about the world around them.

Our stunning new garden offers plenty of opportunities for exploration and play. There is a sandpit and a planting area where children can grow flowers, fruit and vegetables. Some of the produce even makes it into our meals!

Our delicious, healthy and nutritious food is sourced from trusted suppliers and changes on a weekly basis with seasonal variations. All dishes are prepared and cooked by our very own chef who caters for all special dietary requirements. Our kitchen holds a 5* EHO rating for food safety and hygiene. Please see the menus tab above for our current menu.

Here at the nursery we have an open door policy - we are here to answer any questions and provide explanations of anything you may be unsure of and, together, give your child the best start in life.

We are open 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6.30pm.

We will be delighted to welcome you to Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery & Pre-School. Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.
