Cinnamon Spiced Apple and Custard

Ingredients

30g Custard Powder
600ml Semi Skimmed Milk
400g Apple
1g Ground Cinnamon


Preparation

Chop apples to an appropriate size

Method

  1. Stew apples with cinnamon
  2. Mix a little of the milk and all of the custard powder in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Heat the rest of the milk in a saucepan until hot ,then pour over the custard powder and mix well.
  4. Return to the heat and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. When the mixture starts to boil slightly lower heat and stir until thickened.
  6. Serve
