Turkey and Vegetable Pie


500g Turkey Mince

400g Carrots

225g Garden Peas

2 Celery

112g Sunflower Spread

2 Red Onions

8tbsp Plain Flour

Pinch of Ground Black Pepper

50ml Water

225ml Whole Milk

200g Puff Pastry Blocks


1.Dry fry minced turkey .
2.In a saucepan, combine turkey, carrots, peas and celery.
3.Add water to cover and boil for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, drain and set aside.
4.In the saucepan over medium heat, cook onion in margarine until soft and translucent.
5. Stir in flour, season. Slowly stir in water and milk. Simmer over medium-low heat until thick.
6.Remove from heat and set aside.
7.Place the turkey mixture in bottom of the prepared pie dish.
8. Pour white sauce mixture over. Roll out pastry and cover pie, seal edges, and cut away excess pastry.
9.Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
