Keeping everyone safe is Bright Horizons’ number one priority! Tuesday 7th February is Safer Internet Day, and we go to great lengths to ensure that any technology that is in our nurseries is safe for our children. Using a specific wireless connection created by our dedicated IT team, the technology adheres to EU regulations and the network is filtered, secured and carefully monitored at all times, with only selected websites being available to support children’s learning.
We would like to share some top tips to keeping your children safe on the internet when at home too!
- Install parent controls so you can manage what your children can access
- Explore the internet together so your child knows what websites they can access
- Set passwords on your devices so you can protect them from making purchases
- Try downloading children apps to watch TV, like YouTube Kids or BBC iPlayer Kids where the content is age appropriate.
