It isn’t just the children that we are finding ourselves caring for!
A lot of us would not necessarily think of ourselves as carers if we are caring for a loved one, however if someone you love is relying on you for more support, then you may find yourself transitioning from being a supportive relative into being a carer.
Register for our free webinar taking place next Tuesday 23rd February 12.30pm-1.30pm with our speaker Lorna Easterbrook. This session will look at how to recognise you have become a carer, looking after your needs, finding out about support for you and the person you care for, your rights as a carer as well as balancing caring, work and home life.
Lorna has worked with and for older and disabled people for over 20 years, specialising in health, housing and social care. Formerly the Community Care policy expert at Age Concern England (now Age UK) and Fellow in Community Care at the King’s Fund. Lorna has written books on many subjects surrounding care and the NHS.
Should you not be able to make the session, please do still register as a recording of the session, along with the slides will be sent to you.
