Milton Keynes nursery children explore food colouring
Date: 15 Oct 2019
Children at Bright Horizons Witan Gate Day Nursery and Preschool in Milton Keynes have been exploring food colouring using water, in an activity part of the organisation’s Growing Scientists programme.
The children used test tubes as they placed the colouring into the water and worse safety goggles as they did so.
“They took turns and chose the colour they wanted to use,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Amy Potter. “They were amazed the water changed to the colour they wanted it to be.”
Bright Horizons’ Growing Scientists programme aims to help children identify scientific activities that occur in their everyday lives.
