Timperley children look after stick insects

Date: 28 Oct 2019

Children at Bright Horizons Timperley Day Nursery and Preschool in Cheshire have been busy looking after a group of sticks insects for a family.

The children ensured that they regularly changed the leaves for the stick insects to eat and used magnifying glasses to check up on them.

“One of our preschoolers’ older brothers who they belong to came into nursery and did a show and tell with the stick insects with all our preschool children,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Aimee Martin. “He talked to the children about the stick insects, their names, what they like to eat and how to look after them.”
