Didcot nursery children embrace science month

Date: 05 Mar 2019

Children at Bright Horizons Didcot Day Nursery and Preschool enjoyed taking part in a number of experiments in February as part of the organisation’s Growing Scientists month.

One experiment included them making a mini volcano by using a combination of baking powder and vinegar.

“They all had great fun watching the volcano erupt when mixing vinegar soap and baking powder in the garden,” said Nursery Manager Mollie Edmunds.

Bright Horizons’ Growing Scientists enhancement aims to help children identify scientific activities that occur in their everyday lives.
