Hampton Wick nursery children explore properties of mud
Date: 28 Feb 2019
Children at Bright Horizons Asquith Montessori Hampton Wick Nursery School have been exploring mud and its properties.
The children have been digging, moulding and sifting through a tray of mud to find any hidden treasures within which staff had planted for them.
“The activity was part of Growing Scientists month at the nursery which helps the children to identify scientific activities that occur in their everyday life,” said Nursery Manager Claire Miller. “Mud is a natural substance which also helps to enhance their sensory skills.”
