Children at Bright Horizons Active Learning Kingston nursery in Kingston upon Thames have been learning about clay during their recent art sessions.
Inspired by Anthony Gormley’s “Field of the British Isles” the children worked together to make their own field of clay figures, to create a collaborative installation to the nursery foyer.
“Just like Gormley, the children made many small clay figures using just their hands, some water and a tool to make holes for their eyes,” said Nursery Manager Sue Banks.
