Children at Bright Horizons Asquith Raynes Park Pre-School and Day Nursery recently made their own poppies for Remembrance Day.
The children used red paint, paper plates and black paper to create the poppies, in an activity also part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement which encourages creativity in art.
“The children were keen to learn more about Remembrance Day and the tradition of poppies so were delighted to make some themselves,” said Nursery Manager Sherin Faizal.
