Children at Bright Horizons Jack Straws Lane Nursery and Preschool at the University of Oxford were recently excited to be visited by the local Oxford Fire Service.

The children were given the opportunity to explore different sections of the fire engine and try on some uniform. They also practiced using various tools that the firefighters use and had a seat in the fire engine themselves.

“Our health and safety mascot Candy Floss also enjoyed joining us and learning lots of new things from the fire service team,” said Nursery Manager Lois Smith.
