Date: 29 Nov 2018
Bright Horizons Broadgreen Day Nursery and Preschool has been rated ‘Good’ after its most recent Ofsted inspection.
The nursery received its inspection on November 5th and was rated as ‘Good’ in all four areas of inspection: Effectiveness of the leadership and management; Quality of teaching, learning and assessment; Personal development, behaviour and welfare and Outcomes for children.
Inspection activities included the observing the quality of teaching during activities both indoors and outdoors. Comments from the report included:
- Parents speak very highly of the staff and comment that they are happy with the care provided. Staff and parents work increasingly well in partnership to support children’s care and learning.
- Leaders and managers take account of the views of children, parents, staff and local authority advisers when evaluating the nursery. They talk passionately about their work, and are following a clear action plan to maintain and build on the good quality.
- Children are emotionally secure and behave well. They are happy, confident and make good progress.
“We are pleased that the happiness of our children in the progress they are making has been recognised in this positive Ofsted report,” said Nursery Manager Stephanie Dickinson. “We will always strive for further improvements as we move forward.”
