Twickenham nursery embraces World Mental Health Day
Date: 11 Oct 2018
Children and staff at Bright Horizons Asquith Trafalgar Day Nursery and Pre-School in Twickenham took part in World Mental Health Day on October 10th.
The nursery hosted a “tea and talk” morning for parents, giving them an opportunity to discuss matters whilst also developing their support network.
“Mental health can affect us all and having the time to talk about this openly with others will help more people understand that it’s okay not to be okay sometimes,” said Nursery Manager Pippa Shaw. “Talking about our own mental health this morning has made us feel that people can suffer in silence, but by supporting each other and being open to conversation we can help to fight the stigma.”
