Children at Bright Horizons St Swithin Early Learning and Childcare in Aberdeen have been working collaboratively to grow their own produce in the nursery vegetable patch.

The children were excited to discover that their pea pods had grown this past week. They then explored and opened them to discover what was inside.

“There was a lot of discussion about their colour, size, shape and even taste,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Kim Scanlan. We counted out how many there were and compared their sizes. The grand total was 24 peas.”
