Clapham nursery celebrates Pride Month

Date: 11 Jul 2018

Children and staff at Bright Horizons Clapham Day Nursery and Preschool celebrated Pride Month throughout June with their own Pride Festival.

Activities included the children making rainbow cookies, love key rings and Pride t-shirts. They also took part in their own Pride march on Clapham Common.

“As a nursery we regularly host community and cultural days that are important to our children, families and staff,” said Paul Fitzpatrick-Spinks, senior nursery manager. ”The diverse make up of our nursery is a huge part of what makes us an incredibly special and unique place to be.

“For Pride, we wanted to celebrate our individuality, the things that make all of us unique and special in our own ways and how our differences are what make us, us. We talked to the children about how amazing and special they are and that being themselves is more than enough.”
