Church Crookham nursery study the work of Monet

Date: 12 Jun 2018

Children at Bright Horizons Church Crookham Day Nursery and Preschool in Fleet, Hampshire have been learning about different artists and their style of work, as part of the organisation’s Growing Artists enhancement.

The children recently studied the work of Claude Monet and his impressionism art style. They created their own water lilies inspired by “The Water-Lily Pond” painting.

“The children had a go themselves on the Perspex screens in our garden,” said Nursery Manager Gemma Butler. “The practitioners printed off some of Monet’s work so they could copy.”
