New Bright Space to Open in Barnet Refuge
Date: 27 Jun 2018
The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children will officially open a new Bright Space with Solace Women’s Aid in Barnet next week. The Bright Space, a family room, will provide a beautiful play environment for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
The Bright Space will provide children and mothers with opportunities to play, learn, relax and recover from the trauma they have experienced. This is the second Bright Space to open for Solace Women’s Aid who, last year, supported 10,000 women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.
Tracy Wilkes-Green, from the Bright Horizons Foundation said, “We are delighted to open this second Bright Space with Solace Women’s Aid, and to help even more children and families recover from the devastating impact of domestic violence.”
The official opening ceremony will take place on 27th June.
