Bright Horizons Manchester Day Nursery and Preschool was recently announced as a runner up for the Greater Manchester Talent Match Award.
Nursery Manager Chloe Barwick confirmed that the nursery received its recognition due to its commitment to supporting young employees and staff members on their career path. Barwick herself was also recognised specifically in the official nomination for her work aiding a disabled member of staff in their career.
“I was honoured to be shortlisted and runner up for the Greater Manchester Talent Match Award on behalf of Bright Horizons, for my work with a young person on the talent match programme,” Barwick said. “One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing how people grow and develop, and it has been a pleasure to work and continue to work with the young person, and support her with her career progression.”
Barwick recently attended an awards gala hosted by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to receive the award alongside Deputy Nursery Manager Lizzie Arden.
