Children at Bright Horizons Wolfson Court Day Nursery and Preschool in Cambridge recently took part in their own version of the Winter Olympics.

The children took part in a number of themed races using small people toys, as staff created slopes in the snow, including skeleton and luge.

“They talked about the protective clothing they wear and how they do it to keep themselves safe and candy floss was there to support their understanding,” said Nursery manager Michela Garner. “They then looked at if the slope was moved at a different angle does it make the people go faster.”
