Bright Horizons Weybridge Day Nursery and Preschool has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ after receiving its recent Ofsted inspection.
The nursery received its inspection on January 26th and was rated as ‘Outstanding’ in all four areas of inspection: Effectiveness of the leadership and management; Quality of teaching, learning and assessment; Personal development, behaviour and welfare; Outcomes for children.
Inspection activities included the inspector observing children engaging in activities, both indoors and outdoors, as well as staff interactions with them. Comments from the Ofsted report included:
- The nursery is exceptionally well led and managed. The new manager is highly proactive and successful in identifying and targeting priorities for improvement.
- Staff forge outstanding partnerships with parents and outside agencies, such as speech and language therapists and social care professionals. Parents are very impressed by what children learn, for instance, about the inner workings of the human body, and are immensely well informed about, and involved in, the planning for their child’s progress.
- Children’s health, safety and well-being are exceedingly well supported and protected. The routine and well-being needs of babies and young toddlers are exceedingly well acknowledged and supported. Children establish exemplary relationships with their designated member of staff and each other. Behaviour is exemplary.
“We are absolutely delighted to receive such an amazing report, it reads like a treasure trove of positive comments.” said Nursery Manager, Tracy Elser. “I am so proud of my team who work incredible hard each and every day to ensure that our nurseries offers exceptional care and education to the local community.”
