Children at Bright Horizons Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool have brought their road safety learning to life by creating their own road in the nursery garden.

The children looked left and right before crossing and also used both a zebra crossing and traffic lights to practice waiting for the bikes to stop. They spoke about holding hands, looking both ways and always waiting for the green man to light up.

“With the help of Candy Floss, our health and safety mascot, the children also used the zebra crossing in the nursery car park and had lots of fun learning about the key rules of road safety,” said Nursery Manager Louise Peek.
