Children at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Early Learning and Childcare nursery in Edinburgh have been looking at different Chinese traditions as part of an initiative to explore different festivals from around the world.

The children created a mind map around Chinese traditions and stated their desire to make their own version of a Chinese dragon and try Chinese food.

“Looking at other festivals and celebrations around the world helps the children develop better understandings on the world in which they live and how things are different in other cultures,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Kate Hubbert.
