Book Inspiration Prompts Children To Build Houses

Book inspiration prompts children to build houses

Date: 01 Mar 2018

Children at Bright Horizons Crewe Day Nursery and Preschool have been busy making their own houses after reading “The Three Little Pigs”.

The children used lollipop sticks and glue after talking about the different materials that the pigs used to build houses in the story.

“We thought about the story and what the houses were made of,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Nicola Harvey. “We had a group discussion and said it was sticks, bricks and hay, so we used the lollipop sticks to be like sticks in the story.”
