Canada Square nursery children use spring colours in painting activity

Children at Bright Horizons Canada Square Day Nursery and Preschool in Canary Wharf have been learning more about the different seasons in recent weeks.

The children have been focusing on the colours of spring and how they change through the seasons. They used paints to make their own interpretations, in an exercise part of the Growing Artists enhancement.

“They looked at a painting by an Israeli painter called Leonid Afremov, who uses different colours in his style of painting,” said Naomi Runeckles, deputy nursery manager.

Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists enhancement aims to encourage creativity in art.
