Gaynes Park children pay their respects at war memorial

Date: 21 Nov 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool recently visited a poppy memorial in nearby Upminster.

The initiative was following on from Remembrance Day and resulted in the children laying their own poppy wreath which they had made themselves. Bright Horizons health and safety mascot Candy Floss was also present to ensure everyone remained safe.

“The children took great pride in paying their respects at the memorial for Remembrance Day and did an excellent job of making their own poppy wreath,” said Nursery Manager Zoe Smith.
