Children at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Early Learning and Childcare nursery in Edinburgh have been busy exploring autumnal materials and have since discovered pumpkins.

The children have been looking more closely at the pumpkins exploring the colours, size and texture. They also used playdough and natural sticks to create their own model pumpkins.

“The children have been keen to get into the autumn spirit and have been fascinated by the pumpkins,’” said Deputy Nursery Manager Kate Hubbert. “We look forward to Halloween now.”
