Fleet nursery children celebrate International Dot Day

Date: 25 Oct 2017

Children at Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool in Hampshire celebrated International Dot Day on September 15th.

The children got involved by using a hole punch to make their own dots which they then stuck onto pieces of paper. They used their fine motor skills to put in the paint and then create marks on the paper. The exercise was also part of Bright Horizons’ Growing Artists enhancement.

“Some children wore dotty clothes and we looked at different patterns we could make with the dots,” said Deputy Nursery Manager Kelly Smith.

The Growing Artists enhancement aims to encourage creativity in art.
